The following nine covers were made to fit the entire Extended Editions of the Lord of the Rings in one case.
Below are nine different combinations, hopefully you will find one suited to your tastes! Click on the covers below for a bigger view or use the download links below each cover to download a hi-rez (300 dpi) version suitable for printing.
Unfortunately, the booklets will not also fit in the cases, so the final two covers are a work-around that I am using. They were made to hold both the Theatrical and Extended Editions in a total of two cases. Here's how it works...
Essentually all the movie discs (theatrical and Extended Editions) go in the first case and all the Appendices and special features go in the second case, marked Appendices.
I took out the first flipping page of the 12 disc case. This leaves 10 spots. All the booklets and inserts will now fit behind the front cover of the case. I am not putting anything in the spot covered by the booklets (but its still useable).
As for the remaining nine spots... They will hold the two disc Extended Editions for each movie. (6 discs) plus the 3 discs that make up the Theatrical versions, for a total of nine.
The second case, marked Appendices, will hold the 6 Appendices discs from the Extended Editions, plus the special features discs from the Theatrical versions. There are also three remaining spots for the bonus discs that came with the EE gift sets. Or you can use the remaining spots for whatever other LOTR odds and ends you may have.
Two covers to rule them all...
